Harold Stiles

Harold "Pug" Lee Stiles 1941 - 2014 Harold "Pug" Lee Stiles, 73, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. A Gaston County native, he was born July 29, 1941, son of the late Grady and Dovie Marr Stiles. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Harry Dean Stiles and his brother, J.B. Stiles. Mr. Stiles is survived by his brother, Gene Stiles of Gastonia; and sisters, Inez Burchfield of Gastonia, Helen Grindle of Gastonia, Hazel Dupuis of Reynoldsburg, OH, Marlene Parks and Husband Al of Goldsboro, NC, and Glenda Winders and husband Mike of Clover, SC. A funeral service, officiated by the Revs. Bobby Gilley, Sam Barnette, and Pervy Stines will be held 2 pm Tuesday, August 19 at South Gastonia Church of God, 310 Carolina Ave., Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, August 18 at the church. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
