Harold Greg Smith

Harold "Greg" Smith, 69, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born February 18, 1955, in Cleveland Co, NC, son of the late Horace and Ruth Smith.

Greg loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed going to the dirt track on Friday nights.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Kelly Smith.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Kristin Evans, and husband Cameron; sisters, Sandi Smith, and Judy Jenkins and husband, Roger; granddaughter, Leighton Evans; and unborn grandson who is due in July, Barrett.

A celebration of Greg's life officiated by Pastor Mike Phillips, will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 28, 2024, at South Point Baptist Church – 124 Horsley Ave., Belmont, NC 28012. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
