Harold Landon Cook

Harold Landon Cook, 84, of Cramerton, NC, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born November 26, 1937, in Gaston County, to the late Golman Mack Cook and Leona Finchum Cook.

Harold was a member of Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a former Sunday school teacher. He was a former youth leader at Catawba Freewill Baptist Church, and former pastor of Sandy Ford Freewill Baptist Church in Mount Holly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, L.M. Cook and Dean Cook.

Harold is survived by his sons, Jeff Cook and wife Carolyn, Greg Cook, his daughter, Jennifer Jarrell, his sister, Louise Childers, four grandchildren, Faith Cook, Rebekah Cook, Jarod Cook and Erin Jarrell.

A Funeral Service officiated by Pastors Jeff Silvers and Odell Cook will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, 826 Stanley Spencer Mtn. Road, Gastonia, NC. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mount Holly.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, 826 Stanley Spencer Mtn. Road, Gastonia, NC, 28056.
