Harold Arrendale

DALLAS, NC – Harold Arrendale, 84, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Beatty Arrendale; parents, B.F. and Kitty McKinney Arrendale; sisters, Lougene Arrendale Carrigan, and Lorraine Arrendale; and brothers, Boyd Arrendale, J.D. Arrendale, Homer Arrendale and Horace Arrendale.    He is survived by daughters, Teresa Reid (Raymond) of Kernersville, NC and Sharon Arrendale of Dallas; grandchildren, Bryan Todd (Kay) of Dallas; Kimberly Todd of Dallas; and great- grandchildren, Sierra and Zackary Todd of Dallas.  Harold, who served in the U.S. Navy, was retired as owner of H & H Upholstery Company in Dallas, which he started from scratch. Known for the superior quality of his work, Harold was a highly regarded upholstery furniture-maker throughout the region.   A private graveside service will be conducted Monday, Decmber 28, 2015, at Hardin Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas.
