Harlan C. Markwalder Sr.

Kings Mountain, NC Harlan C. Markwalder Sr., 64, life long resident of Gaston County, passed away January 3, 2013, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. He was born October 31, 1948, son of the late Donald L. and Ruth Hammack Markwalder. Harlan loved his family, reading and writing. All services are private. He is survived by: sons, Harlan C. Markwalder Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Claremont, Matthew Markwalder of Kings Mountain, Nathan Markwalder of Vale; daughter, Miriam Markwalder of Lincolnton; sister, Janice G. Fowler of Gastonia; 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: grandparents, Nelson and Carrie Hammack, William and Betty Markwalder.
