Hardy Owens

Hardy Dean Owens, 55, of Dallas, passed away February 12, 2022, at his home.

He was born September 24, 1966, in York County SC, son of the late Glynerd Owens and Leatha Philbeck Shehan.

Hardy loved his family and loved spending with them.

He enjoyed fishing and going to concerts.

A celebration of Deano's life will be held 5:00 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, officiated by Deacon John Sisk.

Hardy is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Dover Owens; sons, Erick Owens (Becky), Randy Owens, Daniel Owens (Samantha), Joshua Dover (Nancy); daughters, Amanda Smith (Roger), Pamela Adams, Ashley Adams, Amber Perdue (JD); brothers, Scott Owens and Eugene Owens; twenty-one grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Hardy was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Owens; brother, Sammy Owens.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
