Hannah Wilson Brooking

Hannah Wilson Brooking, 70, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at her residence.

She was born May 14, 1952, in Yancey County, NC daughter to the late Carl and Hazel Wilson.

Hannah was a member of Mallard Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte. She was a God fearing woman who loved her church. She loved her family and her grandchildren. Hannah loved to garden and make flower arrangements. She loved crafting and watching the hummingbirds in her garden with her husband over a hot cup of coffee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Scott "Bubba" Brooking; son, Tracey Trantham; brothers, Charles and Reese Wilson.

Hannah is survived by her sons, Jesse Williams, Bryan Williams (Teresa Barnes); daughters, Mary Williams, Saralynn Brooking; grandchildren, Alden Williams, Christopher Williams, Jaylen Leeper-Williams, Bryce Brooking, Alexis Brooking, Max Heffner; sisters, Ilene Cutshall (Monroe), Betty Clonrz; brothers, Ed Wilson, Ray Wilson, David Wilson, Creed Wilson; several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is serving the Brooking family.
