Hal Andrew Pruitt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hal Andrew Pruitt, who left us on May 6, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on October 1, 1945, in North Carolina and spent his life in Gastonia, where he made a home filled with love and laughter, son of the late Andy Pruitt and Kate Pruitt.

Hal was a dedicated carpenter, proudly self-employed, and known for his skillful hands and generous spirit. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing and riding his lawn mower, activities that brought him peace and happiness.

Hal will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Larry Laws, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, located at 125 Mayberry Ln, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Hal's life and share memories of the wonderful moments he created with everyone he met.

He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
