Guy Randall Green,87, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on October 17, 2017, at Blue Ridge in Brookview Healthcare in Gaffney, SC.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Cleveland County, son of the late Oscar Benjamin Green Sr. and Oveder Chapman Randall Green.
Mr. Green was a member of Cherokee Street Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, where he served as a deacon. He loved his church and he loved his family deeply and was devoted to them.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm November 4, 2017, at Cherokee Street Baptist Church, 421 S. Cherokee Street, Kings Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Roger Green
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Green is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Gunn Green; sons, Randy Green and wife Virginia, David Green and wife Brenda, Darren Ledbetter and wife Elizabeth, Rev. Roger Green and wife Sharon; daughters, Barbara Glover and husband Ronnie, Betty Green, Tonya Hook and husband Allen; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
