Gustavo Calzada

Gustavo Calzada, 51, of Rock Hill passed away August 4, 2013 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. He was born October 30, 1961 in Fresnillo Zac, Mexico, son of the late Crescencio Calzada and Celia Huizar. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. He loved his family, life, and his dog Spike. Mr. Calzada is survived by: his wife of over 27 years, Vivian Calzada; sons, Richard Valverde and wife Victoria, Gustavo Calzada Jr., Steven Calzada; daughters, Lisa and Stephanie Calzada; brother, Luis Calzada; sisters, Lilia, Raquel, Gloria, and Leticia Calzada; grandchildren, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Nickolas Valverde. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Eliana Marie Calzada. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
