Gretel Biggerstaff Pasour

Gretel Biggerstaff Pasour, 77, of Gastonia, passed away on April 29, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born November 28, 1936 in Cleveland County daughter of the late William Howard Biggerstaff and Wilma Hamrick Biggerstaff. Mrs. Pasour was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Gastonia, where she was a past children's Sunday School Teacher. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring "Maw Maw" to her grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. A celebration of Mrs. Pasour's life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, 716 Camp Rotary Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Roger Overton. The family will receive friends 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday at the church Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mrs. Pasour is survived by: her loving husband of 54 years, Ray Pasour; sons and daughters in- law, Mike and Leslie Pasour, Mark and Gina Pasour; daughter and son in-law, Debbie and Mike Bynum; sister and brother in-law, Sheila and Dick Enrich; grandchildren, Christopher Pasour, Jessica Summey, Adam Pasour, Meagan Trejo, Chloe Pasour, Caitlyn, Caleb and Catherine Bynum. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: an infant brother. Memorials may be sent to Chapel Grove Baptist Church - Children's Building Fund 716 Camp Rotary Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
