Gregory A Long

Gregory A. Long, 66, of Lake Wylie, SC, came to rest, peacefully, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Hospice and Community Care, Rock Hill, SC.

Born November 27, 1957.

Greg will fondly be remembered for his love of life. He preferred being outdoors, enjoyed working on projects with his friend, Dwight, and cooking out and spending quality time with his brother, Steve. Where there was laughter, good times, good food, Greg was there.

He is preceded in death, by his mother, Patricia.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amy; father, John; brothers, Mark (Eva), Bob (Patti), Steve, Douglas (Randy), and David; and his cherished many nieces, nephews, cousins, and especially very close family friends, Dwight, Richelle, and Viklyne Morgan.

The family would like to encourage friends and loved ones to attend his Celebration of Life Ceremony in Lake Wylie, next grilling season in 2025.
