"Granny Lee" Letha Ray Shehan

" Granny Lee" Letha Ray Shehan , 84, of  Dallas, passed away on September 2, 2020, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born April 21, 1936, in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Rev. Johnny Philbeck and Cora Lou Philbeck

"Granny Lee" loved tending to her garden and canning.

She was a proud supporter of the Kidney Foundation.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Johnny Sisk Jr.

Visitation will follow memorial service at the funeral home.

"Granny Lee" is survived by her sons, Scott Owens and wife Jane, Dean Owens and wife Tammy, Eugene Owens and wife Margaret; adopted child, Matthew McCoy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Shehan; son, Sammy Ray Owens.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
