Grace Ann Harbin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace Ann Harbin, who left us on August 31, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on March 8, 1954, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Grace spent her life in the warm embrace of her beloved Dallas, NC.

Grace was a vibrant soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for bluegrass music and cherished the serene beauty of the Tennessee Mountains. She loved spending her days out in nature creating beautiful blooms in her perennial garden. She also loved cooking. She had a passion for helping elderly people and adored her yorkie and her fur babies. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas, NC. She loved her church and her church family.

Grace graduated from Belmont Abbey College, she dedicated her professional life to the Social Security Administration, where she worked tirelessly in administration. Though she was devoted to her work, her true love lay in her family and the natural world around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Eugene Rohm; daughter, Lynn Ledford Hamm

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Grace's life at a funeral service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. She will be reunited with her husband at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, or plant a tree in her honor.

Rest in peace, Grace Ann Harbin. You will be missed, but your spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
