Gloria Whitley Leonard

Gloria Whitley Leonard, 70, of Loris, SC passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at her residence.

She was born February 8, 1953, in Loris to the late Wade Whitley and Helen Cox Rector.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard; daughter, Wendi Leonard; brother, Billy Wade Whitley Sr.

Gloria is survived by her children, Sherry Smith (Randy), Michelle Moore (Phillip), Billy Wade Whitley Jr. (Lisa), Mary McKinney (Brandon); 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Wilson (Buster), Debbie Wilson.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend Ricky Smith will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, 11:00 AM, at the South Chapel of Greene funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
