Gloria Dee Cox Miller

Gloria Dee Cox Miller, 82, of Cherryville, passed away on April 22, 2015 at her home. She was born October 9, 1932 in Spindale, NC, daughter of the late James W. Cox and Elvenia Bradshaw Cox. Mrs. Miller was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed going to flea markets and car shows. She was a member of Harvest Time Assembly, Kings Mountain. She worked for 35 years at H & R Block. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Harvest Time Assembly 904 Second Street Kings Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Shelia Grigg. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia. Interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain. Mrs. Miller is survived by sons, Billy Eugene Miller and wife Jill, Timothy Clay Miller and wife Kendra; daughters, Nikki Machen and husband Glenn Jr., Tammy Renee Jones; sister, Janie Sue Catledge; ten grandchildren; nine great - grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Billy Junior Miller; son, Michael Keith Miller; brother, James Leonard Cox. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
