Glenda Lee Pennington

Glenda Lee Pennington, 74, of Lowell, NC passed away January 27, 2022 at Lakewood Care Center, Denver, NC.

She was born in Gaston County, NC on June 17, 1947 to the late Enos Glenn and Ethel Milling McGinnis.

Glenda was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church.  She loved horseback riding, traveling to the mountains, and going to the beach.

Survivors include a sister, Debra Mathis; special nephews, Joshua Mathis and Jacob Mathis; and great-niece, Camdyn Mathis.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
