Glenda B. Pennington

Glenda B. Pennington, 65, of Gastonia, passed away February 2, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born May 1, 1949 in Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Dillon Robert and Fannie Cox Bradley. Glenda was a member of Beech Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Linda and Billy Badger, Laura, Erica, and Melissa Pennington; brother, Richard Bradley; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Henry Pennington and sister, Clara Bradley. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Thursday night at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glenda Pennington Memorial Fund - c/o Laura Pennington - 1089 Farewell Drive Apt. 324, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
