Girtha Marie Young Morrow

Girtha Marie Young Morrow, 85, of Gastonia passed away November 8, 2016 at Brooks-Howell Home in Asheville and is rejoicing in heaven today.

She was born October 4, 1931 in White County, GA, the daughter of the late Alvin and Christina Young.

Left to cherish her memories are her three daughters Betty, Debbie and Barbara, along with her son-in-law Ron; brother John; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The receiving of friends and family will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:30 am – 12:15 pm at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, followed by a graveside service at 1 pm at the Singing Tower in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
