Ginger Ruffin

Ginger Ruffin, 48, of Smyrna, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born on February 4, 1975, in Gaston County to Richard David Cobb and Polly Elaine Stewart.

Ginger was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Russell and Evalee Cobb; maternal grandmother, Iris Thomas; sister, Rebecca Cobb.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Ruffin; children, Jacob Willis, Gracie Ruffin, Luke Ruffin; father, Richard Cobb and Patricia; mother, Polly Cobb; sisters, Sonda Horton (Larry), Paige Campbell (Dan), Olivia Cobb; brothers, Mark Cobb and Tim Cobb; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Homer Murdock and Rev. Ken Cobb, will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, 1:00 PM, at Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy 55, York, SC 29745.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  The family will also gather at the home of Richard Cobb on Friday, November 3, 2023, after 5:00 pm.
