Geraldine Sherrill Moore, 86, of Cherryville, passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Carolina Care in Cherryville.

She was born on March 7, 1936, in Gaston County to the late Fred and Jewell Sherrill.

Geraldine loved her family and loved to play bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Moore; son, Richard "Ricky" Flowers; brothers, Bill, Kenneth, Steve Sherrill; sister, Linda King; grandson, Steven Tomberlin Jr.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Judy Tomberlin and husband Robert "Buddy", Kathy Tomberlin and husband Steve, Tammy Moore, Rhonda Moore; sister, Vera Calder; thirteen grandchildren, Richard Lovelace Jr., Steven "Randy" Tomberlin, Jeffrey Tomberlin, Richard McCaskle, Brandon Flowers, Jennifer Flowers, Jonathan Inthisarath, Samantha Phillips, Sabrina Inthisarath, Tiffani Hobbs, Selena Rivas, Jasmine Rivas, Kimberly Rivas.; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 26, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium. Visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
