Geraldine Griffie Hyde left for her heavenly home on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Hyde Sr.; son, Rocky Hyde; granddaughter, Roxanne Hyde; parents, Oscar and Lena Griffie; sister, Ruth Terris; and brother, Howard Griffie.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Hyde, Sr. (Shelby), and Jack C. Hyde, Jr. (Janelle); adopted daughter, Regena Meadows (Jimmy); grandson, Bobby Hyde Jr. (Jennifer); sister, Linda McCoy (Jack); granddaughters, Jessica Johnson (Dennis), Jenna R. Hyde and Angela Hyde.
Family will be gathering at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC on Sunday, November 11, 2018 between the hours of 2 – 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County – 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
