Gerald "Tarzan" Bridges
March 20, 1965 — December 6, 2021
Gerald "Tarzan" Bridges, 56, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.
He was born March 20, 1965, in Gaston Co, NC, son of Gerald Dwight Bridges and the late Gloria Maxine Wall.
Tarzan loved to play pool, going fishing and has worked for Norman Concrete since the age of 16.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his girlfriend of over 18 years, Renee McSwain; son, Matthew Haney; brother, Steve Bridges (Debbie); and nephews, Steven, Dustin, and Brandon Bridges.
Family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 pm, on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
A graveside service officiated by Pastor David MacEachern, will be held 2pm on Thursday, at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
