Gerald "Jerry" Dennis Tryling

Gerald "Jerry" Dennis Tryling, 64, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 13, 2014 at his home.

He was born June 30, 1950 in Dayton, KY, son of the late George William Tryling Jr. and Anna Margarette Lense Tryling.

Jerry served 24 years of Active Duty service in the USMC. Jerry lived his life by Honor, Courage and Commitment and served tours in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Jerry loved his beloved Corps.

He is preceded in death by: his parents George and Anna Tryling; his brother, Robert "Bobby" Tryling. Jerry is survived by: his girlfriend, Trish Travers; his brothers, George "Butch" Tryling and wife Diane, Kenneth Tryling; nephews, Bill Tryling (Ann), Ray Tryling; niece Tracy Holland (Gary); Jerry also had numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Hospice nurses and CNA"s that took such great care of Him. Jerry served his country honorably, now he is serving Heaven's Gate. Godspeed and Semper Fidelis.

There are no services scheduled.
