Geral Lutz Sr.

Gerald Lee Lutz Sr., 70, of Kings Mountain passed July 14, 2012 at his home. He was born April 16, 1942 in Gaston County son of the Syvada Black Lutz and the late Avery Lutz. Mr. Lutz was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel officiated by Rev. Roger Parson. Interment will be private. In addition to his mother he is survived by: sons, Shadwick Lutz of Hickory, Gerald L. Lutz Jr. and wife Sandy of Dallas; daughters, Connie Kincaid of Concord, Patricia Brittain and husband Jody of Hickory, Beth Saunders and Christina Summit both of Kings Mountain; brothers, David Lutz and Daniel Lutz both of Bessemer City; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
