Georgina Anderson Jones

Georgina Anderson Jones, 87, of Gastonia, formerly of Lincolnton, passed away on March 13, 2017, at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia.

She was born December 21, 1929, in Minnesota.

Mrs. Jones enjoyed traveling and had a love for animals, especially cats.

She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary in Lincolnton.

She was a devoted worker and a proud homeowner of her home she once had in Lincolnton.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 17, 2017 at Forest Lawn Cemetery 2858 East Highway 150 Lincolnton, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

Mrs. Jones is survived by special friends, Carrie Mayer, Ed Meyer and Morgan Gilbert and her Courtland Terrace Family.
