George "Butch" William Tryling Iii

George "Butch" William Tryling III, 81, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully September 9, 2024, at Peak Resources in Gastonia.

He was born June 29, 1943, in Hamilton County, Ohio, son of the late George William Tryling II and Annie Lense Tryling.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Sunday, September 15, 2024, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 1303 North 12th Street Bessemer City, officiated by Father Nick McDonald.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Butch is survived by his children, Bill Tryling (Ann), Tracy Holland (Gary), Raymond Tryling (Kim); grandchildren, Alicia (Peter), Kristin (Daniel), Moises, Zach, Kari, Justin, Robert, Angelina, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Steven, Karissa, Cruz, Madyson, Kayleigh, Anders, Maddox, Alexandria, Aria.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Brosnan; second wife, Diane Tryling; brothers, Kenneth, Gerald and Robert Tryling; granddaughter, Leslie Barrientos.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Peak Resources of Gastonia 2780 X Ray Drive Gastonia, NC 28054.
