George Wayne Page

George "Wayne" Page, 79, of Dallas, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born June 14, 1943, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Walter Haskell and Nancy Trollinger Page.

Wayne was a member of 8 ^th Street Church of God, Bessemer City. He loved his pastor and congregation at the church. Wayne also was a lifelong textile worker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Ann Page; brothers, Floyd, Bob, Sonny, and Jerry; and sister, Shirley Jones.

Wayne is survived by his children, Tasha Nicole Page (Jeffery), Shirley Page Fields (Bryan), and Christopher Wayne Page (Jessica); brother, Ben "Tom" Page (Carolyn); grandchildren, Mason Wayne Page, David Wayne Martin, Kera Nicole Martin, Randall Clayton, Amy Clayton, and Terra Eaker; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Ronnie Pendleton, will be held 3:00 PM, October 2, 2022, at 8 ^th Street Church of God - 906 S 8th St, Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
