George Morris Moore
June 3, 1942 — February 26, 2017
George Morris Moore, 74, of Gastonia, passed away February 26, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 3, 1942, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late George Turner Moore and Minnie Griffin Moore.
George was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Left to cherish his memories are his siblings, Oren Moore of Dallas, Rachel McCarter and husband Charles of Gastonia, Marshall Moore and wife Van of Gastonia, Sharon Holland and husband Danny of Blacksburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Thurston Moore.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Cameron Bryson, will be held 7 pm Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
