George E. Miller

George E. Miller, 83, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his residence.

He was born August 12, 1940, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Jack Miller and Vina Fields.

George retired from FMC after 35 years of service. He was the owner and operator of Millers Transmission.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Miller; and brother, James Wiggins.

George is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lena Miller; daughters, Annette Fowler and husband John, and Tony Miller and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Zack Fowler, Josh Fowler (Scarlet), Ray Miller (Chloe), and Emma Miller (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Hazel Fowler, and Raelynn Miller; and fur baby, Abby.

A Gathering of Friends and Family to remember George and Lena will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
