George Junior Hope Iii

George Junior Hope III, 53, of Kings Mountain, passed away on June 4, 2018, at his home.
He was born March 4, 1965, in Cleveland County, son of the late Stephen Hope and Judy Alexander Hope.
George loved his family and was a loving husband, daddy, paw-paw and brother. He was a member of Love Valley Baptist Church and loved his church family. He loved to tinker and build things around the house, there was nothing he couldn't build, wire or mechanically fix. He was a "jack of all trades". He enjoyed playing and watching football and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday, June 8, 2018, at Love Valley Baptist Church, 2032 Bethlehem Rd. Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastors Barry Philbeck and Michael Lindsey.
The family will receive friends 6 -8 pm Thursday, June 7, 2018, at the church.
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
George is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Crystal Hope; son, Phillip Hope; sisters, Lisa Boheler and husband, Mike, Stephanie Martin and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Jaden Burns, Sadie Hope, Lillian Hope.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society 1901 Brunswick Ave. Suite 100 Charlotte, NC 28207.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
