George Pate Christopher

George Pate Christopher 84, passed away peacefully from this earthly life, into his eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 29, 2025.

George was proceeded in death by his wife Carolyn, who he has long awaited to be reunited with her in Heaven. Also, his parents, brother Bobby, sister Viola, his granddaughter Christina, and many other relatives and friends.

He is survived by his sisters, Frankie, Merna, and Charlotte. His children Wayne Christopher (Rhonda), Terry Christopher, Jane Starnes (Michael), Timmy Christopher (Rhonda), and Larry Christopher (Kate). Grandchildren Angel Christopher, Tommy Christopher, Jonathan Christopher, Geordin Christopher, Joshua Christopher, Justin Christopher, Kayla Goddard, Alana Christopher, Alyssa Christopher, James Ruffin, Brittany Ruffin, Madison Carver (their spouses) numerous great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and countless other relatives and friends. He also leaves behind his long-time companion, his dog Buddy.

Though there are no words great enough to describe what an amazing man George was, he will always be remembered for his kindness, love, and even his humor. He was a godly man who always put himself aside for others. He was a proud member of Lowell Church of God and loved his church family.

Though we were sad to see him go, we find peace in knowing that it was not goodbye, it was I'll see you later.
