George Harold Burkholder, Jr.
January 17, 1939 — November 6, 2022
George Harold Burkholder, Jr., 83, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Burkholder Sr; and brother, Jerry Burkholder.
George was a member of Hope Community Church. He retired from Harris Teeter after 32 years.
George, a quiet and gentle man, is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pat Burkholder; daughter, Amy Thomas (Robert); brother, Perry Burkholder (Linda); sister, Jane McLaughlin.
A celebration of life service officiated by Pastor L. Todd Marlow, will be held 12:30pm, Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Hope Community Church - 3205 Sam Wilson Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
