Geneva Garland Maney

Geneva Garland Maney, 94, of Dallas, passed away on August 24, 2014 at Brian Center, Gastonia. She was born August 12, 1920 in Gaston County, daughter of the late James W. Garland and Obie Kirsey Garland. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Long Creek Church Rd., Dallas, officiated Rev. Jim Shaw. Mrs. Maney will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia Interment will be at Long Creek Church Cemetery, Dallas. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
