Gene "Pops" Inglis

Clover, SC - Gene "Pops" Inglis, 91, of Clover, passed away July 8, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born March 18, 1923 in Lawrence County, IL, son of the late Charles and Cora Inglis. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Army. Gene is survived by his sister, Evelyn Altstatt; daughter, Nancy Wilson and husband Dale; grandsons, Dan Nielson and wife, Sue, Jake Curtis and wife, Suzanne; great-grandchildren Daniel Nielson, Colt, Cassandra and Thomas Curtis, and Drew and Maddy Thomas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Edward, Jack and Merle Inglis. A memorial service will be held 3 pm Sunday at The Journey at Lake Wylie, 5415 Hwy 557 Lake Wylie, SC. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
