Gary Eugene Welch Jr., 26, of Dallas, was taken way too soon on November 10, 2018.
He was born January 2, 1992 in Lincoln County, the son of Gary Eugene Welch Sr. and Angela Michelle Postell Welch.
Gary was employed with Heaffner's Towing Company. He loved his family, cars and music.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee' Whitney Jackson; maternal grandfather, Clifford Postell; paternal grandmother, Lola Welch; daughter, Emma Dianne Michelle Welch; brother, Dustin Ray Welch; sister, Elizabeth Louise Welch and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jr. Welch and maternal grandmother, Louise Postell.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
A funeral service, officiated by, Pastor Heath Honeycutt, will be held 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas.
