Gary was born on November 22, 1960, in North Carolina, and spent his life making a mark in the world of plastic fabrication as a skilled plastic engineer with Roechling Industrial.

A dedicated family man, Gary is survived by his loving spouse, Ginny Summitt, and his cherished daughter, Harley Rush; siblings, Carol Clark, Suzie Summitt, Dale Summitt, and Charlie Summitt; friends, Bo Finger, and Calvin Hannah, and Ted Knapp. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, unwavering dedication, and his knack for making those around him smile.

Gary's life will be celebrated, and details for the memorial service will be announced soon. Friends and family will gather in remembrance of the laughter and love he brought into their lives. In honor of his wishes, his remains will be cremated, with disposition taking place at 5002 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
