Gary Marshall Huffman

Gary Marshall Huffman Sr., beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on May 12, 1946, in North Carolina and spent his life dedicated to his family and work. As the owner and operator of his plumbing business, Gary was well-respected in his community for his expertise and commitment to quality service. He loved the visiting the beach, listening to classic rock-n-roll, fishing, and the Washington Redskins.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley Huffman; son, Gary Marshall Huffman II; daughter, Lauren Noval (Carlos); nieces, Dawn, Amanda and Christina. He touched the lives of many through his work and personal relationships, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation to celebrate Gary's life will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service 1503 S. York Road Gastonia, NC.

Gary Marshall Huffman Sr. will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & Louise Huffman; daughter, Heather Elaine Huffman; brother, Ervin Huffman; sisters, Lucky Huffman, Sherry Cabe; brother-in-law, Keith Cabe.
