Gary Briggs

Gary Briggs, 58, of Dallas, NC, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born February 12, 1963, in Gaston Co, NC, son of Joann Woody Briggs and the late Raymond Edward Briggs.

Gary was owner and operator of Gary's Towing and Service Center, Dallas. He was a devoted son and looked after his parents. Gary was a very generous soul, he was selfless, and down to earth. He would help anyone in need and had a heart of gold.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jo Briggs; daughter, Michella Phillips (Eugene); son, Gary Raymond "Chad" Briggs (fiancé, Michelle Medlin); step-children, Samantha Brooks, and Joshua Brooks; grandchildren, Bobbie, Rosa, Braylon, and Jillian; numerous step-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Edward Briggs; and sisters, Rhonda Conner, Robin Dujardin, and Lisa Harris.

Family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Buddy Queen, will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
