Garnell Clark

Gastonia, NC Garnell Clark, 87, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2012, at her home. She was born July 12, 1925 in Rutherford County, daughter of the late Carman and Doshua Melton Johnson. Mrs. Clark loved her family. She loved to collect figurines of owls and angels and she loved to visit the beach. A celebration of life graveside service will be held 2 pm on Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Leon Humphrey. She is survived by: her sons, Rick Brendle and his wife, Alex, Jeffrey Clark; daughter, Pat Paseka; grandchildren, Gina Young, Shane McKinney, Lindsay Youngblood, Tyler Beatty; great grandchildren, R.J. Furey, Waylon McKinney; special friend, Sherry Howell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband Harvey Erskine Clark; daughter, Debra McKinney; sister, Alma Westbrook.
