Gail Jackson Black

Gail Jackson Black, 71, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 7, 1951, in Gaston County to the late Jack and Dorothy Hall Jackson.
Gail was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia. She loved her family. She enjoyed shopping and doing crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Black, her daughter Angie Black Grigg, two brothers, Richard, and Roger Jackson.
She is survived by her son, Mike Black and girlfriend Susan Wallace, daughter, Anita Black and husband Jimmy Hendrix, son in law Barry Grigg and wife Doris, grandchildren; Michael Grigg, Amanda Summerfield and husband Dustin, Miranda Gozalkowski and husband Mike, Wesley Grigg, Noah Black, great-grandchildren; Hunter Grigg, Landon, Allie, Maddie and Colton Gozalkowski, Jayden Hicks, Tae and Aaron Williams, son in law, special cousin and partner in crime, Joy Williams.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Keith Martin, will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, Nc 28052, at 3:00 PM.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Gaston Memorial Park.
