Freida "Kay" Goble

Freida "Kay" Goble, 75, of Gastonia passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1947, in Gaston County, to the late Lloyd and Martha Louise Burleson.

Kay was a lady with long arms; many hands; a tender, caring heart; and had enough spice to stir some trouble occasionally.  She was a loving, kind lady and made an impact on all she met. She was a member of Lincolnton Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Goble; siblings, Jill Biddix, Rudy Burleson, Joy Williams, Scott Burleson, and Barbara McClellan.

Kay is survived by her son Terry Goble and spouse Ken Fuquay; daughters, Stacy Killette and husband Andrew, Angie Dierks and husband Jeff; brother, Morris Burleson and wife Judy; sister, Naomi Gilbert; grandchildren Erin, Emily, Kayla, Jarrett, Logan, Josh, and Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Jaxtyn, Henry, Silas and Evolett.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Ken Fuquay, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, North Carolina. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
