Freddie June Anderson Walker, 92, of Clover, SC, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024.
She was born August 18, 1931, to the late Fred Owens and Viola Anderson Owens.
Freddie was a member of The Refuge – Lake Wylie. She was a writer and entertained the family with her stories. She also played guitar and piano and wrote songs. She had a great sense of humor. Freddie enjoyed her daily walks. She was a simple lady but gave generously. Freddie loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior.
In addition to her parents Freddie was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Walker; sister, Charlotte Walker.
Freddie is survived by her sons, John Walker Sr. (Angela), Bob Walker (Sabrina), Mark Walker; daughters, Cindy Lane, Laurie Bailey (Mike); thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two nieces and one nephew.
A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Troy Beavers will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 2:00 PM, at The Refuge Church, Lake Wylie, 1163 Hwy 274 Clover, SC, 29710.
