Freda Rhyne Stowe

Freda Rhyne Stowe, 64, of Gastonia, passed away September 29, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born February 6, 1958, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Roy E. Rhyne Jr. and Maggie Cope Rhyne.

Freda deeply loved her family and was devoted to them.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and reading.

Freda is survived by her sons, Shannon Stowe and wife Jaimie, Brian Stowe and wife Lindsay; brothers, Larry Rhyne and wife Barbara, Berry Rhyne and Candy; grandchildren, Emma Stowe, Anson Stowe, Selma Stowe; nephews, Jake Rhyne and Josh Rhyne; great-niece, Jaci Rhyne.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Stowe.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, October 2, 2022, Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Stewart Noel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
