Fred James Stewart

Fred James Stewart, 79, of Cramerton passed away June 1, 2013 at his home. He was born September 26, 1933 in Gaston County, son of the late Jim and Biddie Carringer Stewart. A celebration of Fred's life will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052 officiated by Rev. Danny Dwyer. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. He is survived by: his sons and daughter in law, Terry, Larry, Paul, and Tim Stewart and wife Tina; daughter and son in law, Rita Davis and husband Jerry; close friend, Pete Pope; sister and brother in law, Irene Marsh and husband L.H.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; special friends, Arthur and Ann Barber. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his wife, Carolyn Hart Stewart; daughter, Shelby Stewart Weathers; grandson, Josh Momin; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
