Fred A. Davis

Fred A. Davis, age 72, of Grover, NC, passed away March 13, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A Gaston County native, he was born August 24, 1940, to the late R.C. and Ruby Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Fred Moore III. Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Teresa Strednicky and husband, Ron of Canton, OH, Fred A. Davis Jr. of Canton, OH, Ricky Davis and wife, Stephanie of Fort Mill, SC, and Melissa Moore of Shelby; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Michael Lindsay will be held 1pm Monday at Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Sanger Clinic, 1001 Blythe Blvd., Suite 300, Charlotte, NC 28203.
