Frank Aubrey Shelton Jr.

Frank Aubrey Shelton Jr., 72, of Gastonia passed away December 14, 2013 at his home. He was born August 16, 1941 in Candler, NC, son of the late Frank Sr. and Dorlan Mae Shelton. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052 officiated by Pastor Ralph Carver. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. To my best friend, the love of my life, I will see you again soon. My life is so empty without you but I have all those precious memories. Love, Jean. He was a member of Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas. Mr. Shelton is survived by: his wife of 23 years, Jean Hill Shelton; daughters, Jeanette Ramsey and husband Andrew, Tabatha Chandler and fiancé Joshua Woodard, Melissa and Krista Shelton; sisters, Nala Banks, Grace Winehemer; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; special dog, Tippy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his brothers, Jack and Hoke Shelton; sister, Ruth Shelton.
