Frank Ramsey

Frank Ramsey, 66, of Gastonia, passed away June 3, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.  He was born December 1, 1951, in Catawba County, the son of the late Heaired Franklin Ramsey and Daeszenes Cook.  He is survived by his fiancé, Cindy Carr; sons, John Franklin Ramsey and Bobby Lee Ramsey; daughters, Mary Whorley and fiancé Robert Whisnant and Lena Huckle and husband Everette; brothers, Sam Ramsey and Josh Ramsey; sisters, Diane Winstead, Sarah Ramsey, Joann Prince and Rosie Ramsey; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Cook.  A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Dale will be held 2 pm Friday, June 8, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.  The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.  Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
