Frank (Buster) Jolly, 62, of Gastonia, passed away April 3, 2015, at his residence. He was born June 24, 1952, in Gaston County, son of the late Frank Aston Jolly and Betty Philbeck Jolly. Frank was a member of South Fork Lodge #462 and Oasis Shriner. He was a lifetime member of the VFW #9337 and a member of the United Veterans. He was a Past Governor of the Moose Lodge #1303. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Danny and Mike Jolly. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 25 years, Marie B. Jolly; sons, Eddie Jolly and wife Jessica, Robert Jolly; daughter, Melissa Thomas; brother, Robert Blair Jolly; sister, Donna Mitchell and husband David; and grandchildren, Gabriel Frank Jolly, and Emily Thomas. A memorial service will be held 3pm on Sunday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia, officiating Pastor Jerry Millwood and Rev. Dick Whitener. The family will receive friends 2:00-2:45pm before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris St., Greenville, SC 29605. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
