Frank "Curt" Curtis West

Frank Curtis "Curt" West, 80, of Gastonia, passed away October 25, 2016 at his residence.

He was born March 21, 1936, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Frank Davis West and Ruby Pauline Edwards.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 57 years, Mozelle Morrison West; son David West and wife Doris; daughters Linda Matheson and husband Joel, Sheila Posey, Tammy Dale and husband Ronnie; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Judy Wood and husband Glen; special friends Charles Shook, Ronald Wilson, Tarra Wilkinson (hospice nurse) and neighbor Janet Ariezaga.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty McDonald.

A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Dale and Rev. Lloyd Swafford was held 3 pm Friday at Zion Baptist Church., 2437 Propst Street Gastonia.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
